The Blog Begins




So, we’ve completed our first session with our blogging expert Sue Waters. Where do I even start? This was a whirlwind session and I always felt as though I was one step behind. But nevertheless, we made it through and I now have my own blog and am beginning the quest to discover how to use it. I was and still am to a degree, a blogging skeptic, however after today I am already beginning to see the versatility of this innovation. It is a very effective means of communication, a medium for the expression of ones opinions and personal voice and is an efficient method for the sharing of information. I can see that the application in the classroom could potentially be quite an effective learning tool. I have learnt a lot from todays session and am excited at the thought of getting a better grasp on the complex world of bloggers.

    Sarah many of us are also first time bloggers and are trying to come to terms with the blogging process as well as their potential in learning environments.

    There are some excellent blogs that have been established by teachers which provide us with a great place to start. Here is one:
